Children's Bible Hour
Children’s Bible Hour is in room 207 and is offered during the adult worship time for children 3 years old through 1st grade. When children enter the “BACK YARD” which is room 207, they engage in building relationships and in learning the Bible story for the day. During Bible Hour time children sing age-appropriate songs with movement. Children learn the Bible story through drama, visual aids and other media. This teaching time plants the knowledge of Jesus’ love in the young hearts and encourages children to worship and praise God.
Immediately after class time, parents are asked to pick up all pre school children. Parents and children go to the auditorium as a family. At the appropriate time, the children will have an opportunity to put their offering into the treasure chest on the stage. Then the children will leave the auditorium to attend Children’s Bible Hour. This schedule gives families a time of worship together. It involves children in the ministry of the whole church and provides our volunteers with a connection to the adult service.
Bible Hour utilizes the First Look curriculum. First Look is a web-based curriculum that uses engaging activities to introduce children to God. First Look gives children a first impression of their heavenly Father and the wonder of His love for each one of them.
