WELCOME TO SOUTHWEST
Jimmy has served as the preaching minister at Southwest since 1977. He holds a M.A.R. and M.Th. from Harding Graduate School of Religion and recently completed his D.Min. from Abilene Christian University. Jimmy also serves as the team leader for the ministry staff.
Robin joined us in June 2014 and has been going strong ever since. He comes to us from the great state of Texas. Robin, a natural born teacher, has a background in music to compliment his ability to educate which only add to his God-given talent of leading worship. He along with his wife, Stephanie, have three children, Gabby, Raven and Vada. Southwest is truly blest to have Robin leading our worship.
Chris has been the director at WolfLIFE since January of 2010. Before that, he was the director of the CCSC at Arkansas Tech University for 11 years. He has a passion for teaching the Bible, mentoring students and ministry leaders, and helping plant campus ministries. In 2014 he became the Director of Campus Ministry Planting for a national ministry organization called Campus for Christ. Chris has been married to Monica since 1997, they have a daughter Emma. He earned a Bachelor of Journalism from ASU, a Master of Divinity from HST, and is currently working of a Doctorate of Ministry from Lipscomb University. He enjoys woodworking, four-wheeling, canoeing, reading, and watching Red Wolves football. He is a fan of gas station cappuccinos and clean windshields. His favorite thing to do is spending time with Monica and Emma.
WolfLife Office Manager
Monica has served on the WolfLIFE staff since the summer of 2010. She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Monica has experience in what it takes to manage a business all the way to being a stay-at-home mom for her daughter Emma. When not at work she loves to spend time with her husband Chris and daughter Emma at their house in the woods. Monica loves cooking, reading, gardening, and knitting.
Since June of 2007, Abbey has served on the Youth Ministry Team with an emphasis in ministry to teenage girls. She is originally from Oklahoma and still supports her Oklahoma Sooners no matter where she is! Abbey has a passion for this generation. She wants to see the teenagers, their families, and this church grow closer to our redemptive God every single day. Having been on 5 continents, Abbey loves to travel—her favorite place being Ghana, Africa. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma Christian University and is currently pursuing an Urban Youth Ministry Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.
Polly joined the office staff in September 2009 as our primary receptionist. She moved to Jonesboro from Alma, AR to attend college at Arkansas State University in 1990 and there met her husband Allen through the Church of Christ Campus Ministry. They married in 1993 and she has been a member at SW since 1991. Polly and Allen are the parents of two daughters, Lura Beth and Amie. The Dehm’s have a great passion for the Wolflife Campus Ministry and its importance on the ASU college campus. Polly enjoys time with her family, interior decorating, traveling and having people in their home. She is the first voice you hear when calling our church office and also handles our building use requests and manages our calendar.
Dustin officially joined the Southwest staff in January of 2016. He has a bachelor's in Christian Ministries with an emphasis in biblical linguistics and is working on his Master of Divinity degree with a biblical studies focus. He enjoys teaching and preaching for the church and investing in others as they grow in Christ. He is focused on discipleship and learning what it means to follow Jesus in a post-Christian context. He also knows the importance of engaging in spiritual dialogue with non-Christians and seeks to do so on a regular basis. Dustin is married to Angela, and they have two sons, Owen and Wilkes. In his spare time, Dustin likes to play music and read.
Better Life Center
Mealeta joined the custodial staff in 1994. She now serves as the volunteer coordinator for the Better Life Center.

Erich has served as Executive Minister since February, 2014. As Executive Minister he manages the staff, and maximizes and creates ministry processes and systems to help Southwest become more efficient at fulfilling our vision with the resources God has given us. Erich and his wife, Kristie, moved to Jonesboro from Overland Park, Kansas after his retirement in 2012. Erich brings experience in church leadership as a Shepherd in the Overland Park Church and 20 years of managerial experience with Honeywell to his role as Executive Minister.
After nine years in youth ministry, Chris transitioned to Associate Minister in September of 2008. He is currently working towards completing his Masters degree in New Testament studies and is responsible for collaborating with ministry leaders, ministers and shepherds as well as teaching and preaching.
Daniel has served as a ministry apprentice at Southwest since June 2016. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Ministry from Harding University and is working towards a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Harding School of Theology. He just finished a two year apprenticeship with WOLFLIFE Campus Ministry at Arkansas State University. He and his wife, Holly, are leading a team to plant a campus ministry at the University of Washington in Seattle in the summer of 2017. He loves sports, climbing mountains, reading, spending time talking about Jesus, and cherry vanilla coke.
Darla joined the Southwest office staff as a Ministry Assistant in October 2014 bringing with her 29 years experience working for a Rockford, Illinois church in a similar capacity. She specifically assists staff members and ministry leaders working as a support system to reach ministry plans and goals. Additionally she is responsible for publishing weekly bulletins, quarterly newsletters and occasional other methods of communication. She lives in Trumann with her husband Jim and enjoys gardening, spending time with her family and enjoying country life at the family farm in Smithville.
Tyler has served as youth minister since May of 2016. A Paragould native & Bachelor's of Biblical Studies graduate of Crowley's Ridge College in 2013, Tyler previously worked for Crowley's Ridge Academy. He has preached to congregations spanning from Northeast Arkansas to Southeast Missouri. He's traveled all over the United States. He likes clever writing, barbecue & fast-paced ballgames.
Dana joined the office staff in May of 2001 as an administrative assistant to Jimmy Adcox and is now the church bookkeeper.
Danna Ramsey joined our staff in May of 2014 to assist in our Children's Ministry and became Children's Minister in January 2015.
Michael joined us in February 2015. He manages the office, building and grounds, special events, technology, and special projects. He is available to problem solve and troubleshoot issues day to day and provides a welcoming and serving interface as we host numerous community events. His work is to provide the behind the scenes support that makes all our other ministries possible. Michael has an A.A. in General Education and Biblical Studies from Crowley’s Ridge College and a B.S. in Computer Information Technology from Arkansas State. His previous job experiences are in sales, management, marketing, and customer service. Michael is a jack of all trades, loves to problem solve and find solutions, enjoys serving people, and maintains a positive spirit in his work. He is married to Amy Vines Shumate. They have two children, Hayden and Halle.
Cole Van Horn
International Outreach Coordinator
Cole rejoined the WolfLIFE staff in the fall of 2014 after spending a year in Enshi, Hubei, China as an English teacher and missionary. He first joined the staff in the fall of 2011. Cole is the first coordinator of outreach to international students at ASU. Cole hails from Mount Ida, Arkansas and has a Bachelor of History from Arkansas Tech University, where he first developed his love for international outreach. He is currently working toward a Master of Ministry at Harding University. Cole's hobbies include rock climbing, backpacking, hiking, and the outdoors.
